YANA'S WANDERLUST

It was a perfect nature escape. A beautiful yurt hidden in the woods, awesome nature nearby to explore, a new friend, and a lovely evening by the fire are beautiful memories from this incredible adventure warming my heart. This was a spectacular getaway experience in East Hants, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Yurt nestled in nature

We booked this stunning stay on Airbnb. Our cozy home for one night was a beautiful yurt hidden in the woods. Surrounded by trees and the sounds of birds, we had an incredible glamping experience. This place is perfect for a weekend getaway in Nova Scotia, Canada.

This beautiful and comfortable yurt was one of the best getaways for couples we have experienced so far. The inviting interior, wood burning stove, and evening by the fire surrounded by nature whisper romantic vibes.

An awesome bonus to this yurt glamping experience was a new friend—local dog Bo. He was our companion during our stay and turned out to be a superb guide. He showed us some beautiful spots nearby.

Hayes gypsum caves

This is a gorgeous place. We just walked there from the yurt. A beautiful trail through the woods and along the old railroad bed leads to the river and gypsum cliffs. It’s such an incredible scenery.

Dawson Dowell Park

This wonderful destination was a 10-minute drive from the yurt. It’s a great place to experience tidal changes, but we just enjoyed the view for a bit. This spectacular landscape is just mind-blowing.

Dawson Dowell Park also has a gazebo, playground, and fantastic craft shop with beautiful masterpieces. It offers home decor gems and honey, natural hand soap, and more. We bought a soap and headed home.
