This is a fantastic destination with stunning white sand and a trail along the seashore. Crystal Crescent Beach Provincial Park looks gorgeous, and many people come here to swim in summer. However, my favorite time to visit is the off-season. This spectacular beach looks so serene without the crowds. It is a perfect place for a peaceful walk and to catch a gorgeous sunset. I love coming here in winter and spring to enjoy its untouched beauty.

About the Crystal Crescent Beach

This is a stunning coastal paradise with white sand and an inviting ocean. The seashore is divided into three sections. The first one you can see right from the first parking lot, and others are accessible through the trail. They all look fantastic. Be aware that the third one (furthest from the parking lot) is a nudist beach.

There are a lot of parking spaces and a few washrooms for your comfort in summer. But everything in Crystal Crescent Beach Provincial Park is closed off-season. In winter, you can still park before the gates and enjoy this place’s beauty without crowds after a short walk.

Crystal Crescent Beach Provincial Park directions

It is situated in Sambro Creek, about a 30-minute drive from Halifax. Take Old Sambro Rd, then W Pennant Rd. Turn on E Pennant Rd, and right after that turn on Sabro Creek Rd. Continue until you see Crystal Cres Beach Rd.
