This waterfall never disappoints! We’ve visited Baxter’s Harbour Falls a few times in different seasons, and it always looked awesome and was quite powerful. This one doesn’t even require a hike. You can easily see it from the small parking lot nearby.
Walking to the Baxter Harbour Falls and great views
This stunning gem is located right on the beach. Even though you can see it from the parking lot, it’s always an amazing feeling to get as close to the waterfall as possible. Just a few minutes’ walk will take you to the spectacular view at the base of Baxter Harbour Falls. Take in the power of the falling water and venture to explore the beach.
Spectacular but tricky surroundings of the Baxter Harbour Falls
The area is gorgeous but has its catch. It changes drastically. At the low tide, there’s a path on the left. It leads to beautiful views and astonishing rock formations. At the high tide, the deep water completely submerges the path.
Check the tide schedule before venturing further to the beach. Plan your trip and be aware of the time. You can be easily trapped on the other side by the rapidly coming water of the hide tide. It could change fast, so only go far unless you want to swim back.
How to get to the Baxter Harbour Falls
From Old Baxter Mill Road, turn to Paddy Beach Road. Be careful it’s a steep hill. Park at the end of Paddy Beach Road and go explore!
